With a pottery studio based in the Dublin Mountains, Daniel Woodsmith founded Araucaria Ceramics in 2017. Once a Chef, Dan now creates small batch tableware with new forms and glazes that change seasonally. Every piece is hand thrown using stoneware clay as well as local, hand-dug Irish clay.

Multi-disciplinary Artist and Designer, Clare O’Connor launched her wearable art brand in 2018. Her vibrant paintings explore labyrinthine themes and luxurious textures, interplaying organic and organised forms, shape and colour to create individual and impactful pieces. Sarah Jenkinson lives and works in Galway city as a full time basketmaker. Her baskets, weaved from barked willow, are contemporary designs made in the ancient craft weaving tradition. Each piece draws out the natural colours and distinctive, spicy aroma of each willow variety - grown in Sarah’s own small Salley Garden in Connemara. Sarah is part of our Botanical, Garden and Traditional Skills Workshop Series 2026.

Diane Southey has been a basketmaker for over 20 years, originally discovering willow whilst studying Permaculture. Now growing many different varieties of willow at home in Co. Kerry, Diane teaches workshops whilst also creating Irish Heritage baskets and contemporary pieces for her own basketry business, Sailles Baskets.

Erica Devine is an artist, maker and product innovator based in Co Wicklow. Specialising in botanical casting, Devine’s pieces all capture the beauty of natural form by pressing plants into a bed of clay and casting the resulting impression. Erica’s artwork has featured in solo and group exhibitions across Ireland - and most recently in an intricate installation for Jo Malone’s flagship Parisian store.
