Welcome

Welcome to our home

Our family has been living at Killruddery since 1618 and today we are very happy that three generations live here. Living heritage on Dublin’s doorstep!

Killruddery is a true celebration of the Great Outdoors and an authentic, bio-diverse space. We continue to meet long-standing Members who enjoy Killruddery as their own back garden; it is our delight to build a strong community here who are as passionate about conserving this estate as we are. We produce chemical-free vegetables, fruit, cut-flowers and free-range meats for our Farm Shop & Garden Centre and all our ‘garden-to-plate’ menus in the Grain Store Restaurant and Tea Room.

Over the past decade, we have responded to the challenge of preserving the House and Gardens by transforming Killruddery into a popular visitor attraction on Ireland’s Ancient East, a working farm and a private hire venue for Weddings and Corporate Events. However, at the heart of this enterprise, we wish to protect Killruddery’s soul and unique character as our special family home.

You are most welcome. We hope you will enjoy your visit and return again and again.

Earl and Countess of Meath, Lord and Lady Ardee and the Brabazon Family.

DIRECTIONS

Killruddery House & Gardens is situated 20km south of Dublin, just beyond Bray in Co. Wicklow. Take the M50 southbound onto the N11 then take Exit 7, the Bray/Greystones exit and follow signs to Greystones. We are on the right near the end of the Southern Cross road leading from the N11 to the Greystones Rd. (Sat-Nav 53.184907, -6.102392)

Get the Dart to Bray and from Bray Dart Station you can get the Fingegans Bus, the 184 or 84 to Lord Meath’s Gate. Killruddery House and Gardens are an easy 500 metre walk from there. Simply walk up the hill and turn right at the round about, the gates are 300 meters from there, on the left hand side of the road.
