Lord and Lady Ardee invite you to join esteemed Zoë Conway (fiddle, voice & composer) & John McIntyre (guitar & voice)
'Simply one of the best folk duos on the planet' according to the BBC, Zoë Conway and John Mc Intyre play a mix of old and new traditional Irish music and song, with an emphasis on music that they have composed themselves. With an exciting blend of eclectic fiddle and guitar music, they bring to the stage sympathetic arrangements of traditional Irish music, compositions and songs, old and new. The husband and wife folk duo from the Cooley Peninsula possess a rare facility to draw pieces into their repertoire from other genres such as classical, jazz and world music and express this material in a way that not only displays the sheer range and knowledge of both instrumentalists but also exhibits the wonderful versatility of their instruments. Their contemporary take on Irish traditional music shows that Ireland's culture and heritage is living, breathing, developing and flourishing.

Attendees are invited to make an evening of it with a special pre-concert dinner in The Grain Store, featuring a seasonal menu of fare grown and reared at Killruddery, just a few metres away from your concert venue.
The pre-concert Supper will begin at 18.30, with the concert beginning at 21.00 for a duration of one hour, for guests not booking in for the Supper, the Garden will be open from 20.00 with drinks & snacks available at the beautiful Tea Rooms.

- Please allow plenty of time to arrive and park in our main customer car park. If you are attending our pre-concert dinner please follow signs to The Grain Store, otherwise please follow signs to The Orangery for the concert

Broken Theatre Christmas Circus will be presenting their circus here this year for the first time with an extraordinary retelling of Hans Christian Andersen’s The Snow Queen. This engaging adaptation follows the journey of Kai and Gerda, brought to life through aerial acrobatics, classical music, and family-friendly circus acts. The performance combines thrilling acts with heartwarming and exciting moments that capture the essence of Christmas.
