ABOUT THE EVENT
Join us for Sunset Duet, an intimate evening of music with songwriter, pianist and cellist Vyvienne Long and celebrated musician and broadcaster Fiachna Ó Braonáin, performing live in the stunning setting of Killruddery’s Orangery.
Brought together by a shared love of music, this unique collaboration was born out of friendship and fandom. Their musical dialogue—playful, profound, and sometimes poignant—has led to a series of creative ventures, including their 2024 Earth Day release, You’re the Reason Our World is Warmin’. Inspired by a classic country duet and the urgency of the climate crisis, the track reveals the pair’s ability to blend humour and heart with lyrical finesse.
For this special concert, Vyvienne and Fiachna will perform favourites from their respective catalogues, creating duets wherever the music leads. Framed by the golden light of the Orangery at sunset, Sunset Duet invites you to experience the meeting of two distinct yet kindred musical voices—an evening of interior reflection, magnetic joy, and quietly stirring harmony.
Note: Seating is unreserved. Doors open 30 minutes before the performance.
