EVENT DESCRIPTION

Join us for the Killruddery Harvest Ball, an evening of food, entertainment, celebration and fundraising in support of two charities working to help children facing complex healthcare needs in exceptionally challenging circumstances.

This year, the Ball will raise funds for Their Lives Matter (TLM), supporting children with cancer in Tanzania, and Children Not Numbers (CNN), supporting children affected by the humanitarian crisis in Gaza.

At the heart of the evening, and linking these two organisations, is our special guest Dr Trish Scanlan, a Wicklow-born paediatric oncologist and CEO of Their Lives Matter in Tanzania, who also serves as Medical Director of Children Not Numbers. Trish has devoted much of her professional life to improving access to care for children facing serious illness in extraordinarily difficult circumstances, and we are delighted to welcome her back to Killruddery for this special evening.

Though working in very different circumstances, both organisations share a belief at the heart of this year's Ball: Every Child Counts. Every child deserves care, dignity, protection and the opportunity for a better future.

All proceeds from the evening will be divided equally between Their Lives Matter and Children Not Numbers.

We are delighted to welcome the Dargle String Quartet and the Midnight Ramblers, alongside special guests Luke O’Neill and Afif El Khuffash. An art exhibition, auction and raffle will also take place, raising vital funds for both charities.

Testimonials

Seasonal Supper Club - Everything perfect from beginning to end, atmospheric setting, wonderful staff and service, the food was so fresh and full of flavour and presented so well, a credit to the head chef Niall, whose visit to each table also made it special. A credit to the whole team, we will definitely be back.
