EVENT DESCRIPTION

This year we are delighted to welcome Lakers as our Easter Trail Charity Partners, enjoying the new and wonderful energy of the lovely community of Volunteers that is Lakers sports and social club.

Our trail will take you and your family throughout the Gardens, this Easter Sunday or Monday, for Eggs-cellent family fun, creating moments to treasure - There will be clues to guess, obstacles to get over, traditional games to be played and the day will finish in the Orangery with storytelling  + of course the reward: one small and precious egg.

The funds raised from this event will go directly to support the work of Lakers. So, with the option to don your Easter bonnet and dress in your finest Easter-inspired clothing: book your space's soon, as spaces are somewhat limited!

ABOUT LAKERS:

At Lakers sport and social club, we joyfully support both adults and children with intellectual disabilities. Our mission is to empower our members to grow, learn, and boost their personal skills and confidence through a wide range of exciting sports and social activities, including football, basketball, cooking, art, pottery, computer literacy, dancing, and so much more!

Founded in 1989 as a basketball club by passionate parents who wanted to create opportunities for their children, and with the help of inspiring young coach Clare Brady, Lakers now offers over 70 vibrant activities each week for our amazing 400 members. Our centre is open six days a week and thrives thanks to the dedication of more than 160 volunteers, over 20 enthusiastic staff members, and our supportive Lakers families. Join us in creating a fun and inclusive community!

Seasonal Supper Club - Everything perfect from beginning to end, atmospheric setting, wonderful staff and service, the food was so fresh and full of flavour and presented so well, a credit to the head chef Niall, whose visit to each table also made it special. A credit to the whole team, we will definitely be back.
