SUNDAY 16TH OCTOBER
Have you ever wanted to be a confident food forager? On Sunday, 16th October, join expert Bill O’Dea for a dedicated course to learn about one of Nature’s most underestimated mysteries… fungi.
Hunt and forage around our 800 Killruddery Estate with Ireland’s premier mycophagist, Bill O’Dea. For this workshop, Bill and his team will start with an introductory session, and after a briefing the hunt will begin! Once you have gathered your mushrooms, you’ll return to base and take part in cooking your findings. Then, the time will arrive to sample your foraged delights.
All materials for this workshop will be provided. Included in the price is a welcome tea/coffee and scone, an introduction to mushroom collecting with Bill O’Dea, a morning of mushroom foraging, lunch and mushroom identification.
