EVENT DESCRIPTION

A nature sketch book is a very enjoyable way of recording your garden, holidays or just keeping visual notes. On 30th July, Lady Fionnuala Aston-Ardee invites you to a workshop with botanical artist Yanny Petters, where you will spend the day in the beautiful surroundings of The Orangery at Killruddery, drawing and painting while being inspired by the planting against this heritage building - built of glass, granite and filled with Victorian Statues.

With limited slots available to ensure the workshop remains intimate and each individual receives plenty of guidance throughout the day, during this workshop, Yanny will demonstrate how you can capture a scene, or make a pleasing flower study while honing your observational skills and just having a relaxing day. Students will be advised on what equipment to bring upon booking, and this workshop also includes a welcome tea/coffee and scone, and two-course lunch with Yanny + Fionnuala in The Grain Store.
