Garden To Plate Podcast Series

To The Root

Keith Coleman & Aisling McHugh

Keith Coleman & Aisling McHugh formed ROOTS to channel their love for foraging and sourcing native produce by popping up tables to share it. Their culinary experimentation has led to exciting dinners around the country, showcasing completely new and surprising food pairings.

Keith and Aisling’s curiosity to understand food is a dream for growers: we are delighted to host a pop up supper at Killruddery on 24 September as part of our weekly Pop Up Supper Series. We look forward to watching Keith and Aisling roam our Kitchen Garden and woodlands to find inspiration for their forthcoming menu.

Killian Fox talks to the Roots duo for our third and final episode of Killruddery’s Garden-to-Plate Podcasts, piloted during the lockdown period to replace missed events in our summer programme. Subscribe to the blog for latest news from inside Killruddery as we re-open our Farm Shop and Grain Store Cafe on 29 June – now open 7 days a week all year round!

Killian Fox co-founded the online food magazine The Gannet and is the author of The Gannet’s Gastronomic Miscellany. Based in Dublin, he writes about food, travel and the arts for the Observer, the Guardian, the Financial Times, the Economist and other publications.
