10 years have now passed since we opened our Tea Room, our first venture into preparing and serving a homegrown menu. During this time we have lovingly developed this historic environment, rejuvenating our Kitchen Garden, Orchard and Cutting Garden, preserving our working Farm and implementing best practices.

We are delighted to be opening an all year round Café, expanding our Farm Shop in our refurbished Horse Yard. Our mission is to develop delicious menus using the best of Killruddery’s seasonal produce. Our Farm Shop shelves offer delectable pantry items, Killruddery and locally-grown produce and sustainable gifts for Christmas. We continue to work with our local community to carefully curate the best of Irish makers.

Our Café, Farm Shop and Farm Market will close on Christmas Eve and extensive infrastructural developments will be carried out until the grand opening of our newly refurbished Horse Yard on the 2nd April! This will coincide with the re-opening of Squirrel’s Scramble (adventure tree park) and Killruddery’s historic House and Gardens, kicking off an exciting season 2020!

BRINGING OUR GARDEN TO YOUR PLATE

The Grain Store Cafe POPS UP for the festive period and is the place to go for starry mince pies and rich chocolate muffins with chocolate ganache and DRIZZLED cream – all handmade by Killruddery’s Kitchen.

Set in a heritage grain store, the Café is warmed with a grand wood stove; our feasting tables are decorated with Christmas garden arrangements and our new menu offers restorative sweet & savoury delights straight from the oven. Our emphasis is on our own ingredients and impeccably sourced local produce. We offer you our garden on a plate! Enjoy our homemade garden quiches, pizza, and freshly-made sandwiches served with a tangle of winter greens.
