PHOTOGRAPHY WALK AT KILLRUDDERY

HilltopTreks and the Killruddery House in Wicklow have teamed up for this unique walking and photography event.
Who should attend?
If you enjoy walking in the great outdoors and have often thought about getting some photography lessons and improving your camera skills so you catch that wonderful sunset, then this is the walk for you.
What’s involved?
As the name suggests this is a hands on outdoors experience 1 day basic photography course with a guided walk. You will learn basics of Landscape photography including: composition, focusing, exposure - while visiting very scenic parts of the country.
Why Killruddery House?
Killruddery is unique in having one of the most extensive early formal gardens, in their original style, surviving in Ireland today. Largely laid out in the 17th century and added to in the 19th century, they are amongst the most important of their type in Ireland and the UK. It is also the location for many famous films such as
- “My Left Foot”
- “Angela’s Ashes”
- “Far and away”
- “The Tudors”
to name but a few.
It has 700 acres of wonderful walking grounds surrounding it at the base of the Wicklow mountains.
