WELCOME
Our family has been living at Killruddery since 1618 and today we are very happy that three generations live here. Living heritage on Dublin’s doorstep!
Killruddery is a true celebration of the great outdoors and an authentic, bio-diverse space. We continue to meet long-standing Members who enjoy Killruddery as their own back garden; it is our delight to build a strong community here who are as passionate about conserving this estate as we are. We produce chemical-free vegetables, fruit, cut-flowers and free-range meats for our Farm Shop and all our ‘garden-to-plate’ menus for The Grain Store, Pizza Shed, Coffee Shop, Tea Room and Carrot & Coffee Corner.
Over the past decade, we have responded to the challenge of preserving the House and Gardens by transforming Killruddery into a popular visitor attraction on Ireland’s Ancient East, a working farm and a private hire venue for weddings and corporate events. However, at the heart of this enterprise, we wish to protect Killruddery’s soul and unique character as our special family home.
You are most welcome. We hope you will enjoy your visit and return again and again.
Earl and Countess of Meath, Lord and Lady Ardee and the Brabazon family.

About Killruddery Cut Flowers
Seasonal, earth-friendly cut flowers – are grown here at Killruddery.
Killruddery Cut Flowers is a meeting of minds inspired by our garden and the abundant native hedgerows around the estate. Fionnuala Brabazon (Lady Ardee) leads the Flower Room team, creating dazzling and unusual seasonal arrangements inspired by the estate’s 17th-century gardens, bio-diverse woodlands, and cut flower beds. Together, with a wider team, we create seasonal, sustainable and stylish blooms for your table.
About Hanka Miziová
Hanka Miziová, our Head Florist at Killruddery, is passionate about all things floral + sustainable, right after completing her Master's degree in landscape design and urbanism, Hanka went on to train in floristry and opened her own floral business, which she ran for four years and then went on to explore and engage in high-end event floristry creating fast-paced floral designs for large scale events while there she was inspired by Italian native florals in their natural environments. With eight years of experience in floristry and limitless curiosity in seasonal floral possibilities, Hanka places importance on strengthening the connection that people have with flowers and perceives flowers to be a delicate means to bring people closer to nature in a creative and meaningful way.

ABOUT THE DSPCA:
The DSPCA was established over 180 years ago in 1840. The DSPCA is supported and enhanced by a dedicated team of staff and volunteers who help to save lives every day.
The DSPCA is delighted to be hosting the annual Easter Event with Killruddery. Loved the magnificent gardens and the great tour we had of the house with guide Sarah. Lovely lunch options in the courtyard. Great picnic area for families.
